Acer ends the year by announcing a new netbook

VIA Netbook & SubNotebook Line...www.netbooknews.com VIA is in more computers then you might think and you know they are in the coolest random pcs from Asia. Sascha does a walk through of the netbooks and subnotebooks on display at Computex 2010 there are a couple of beauties like a very high quality clone of a macbook and of course the old VIA standards the OLPC. We had it described to us that if Intel was the Coca Cola, AMD was the Pepsi then Via would be the RC Cola of CPUs. Even though you don't find VIA CPUs in as many places they are still out there and filling a niche of PCs that to be honest end up more in developing nations then in the first world providing value of your dollar and bang for your buck. Of course it doesn't hurt that we always find the most interesting computers and unique designs over with VIA inside. Check out Sascha's walk through at Computex 2010 above.
