  Since VMware license costs a lot, the good news is that you can now install OS X in Windows using one of the most popular free virtualization software called VirtualBox. You'll need to have a system with an Intel or AMD processor which supports hardware virtualization, OSX86 iso, VirtualBox and Windows 7, Vista or XP installed as host operating system. If you meet all these requirements, you can then install OS X Snow Leopard as a VM under Windows to enjoy the best of both worlds. Using some simple command line work, we can fix the install so that you can use your Alfa USB with 10.6. STEPS: 1) Download the Realtek RTL8187L from this link: www.4shared.com If you download from another link, be sure you are downloading 8187L, NOT 8187B. 8187B will not work in this case. 2) Unpack the RAR file using a program such as Zipeg (my personal favorite unarchiving tool for Macs - Google it for a download link).   Just showing that it's possible to install and run snow leopard fine on an AMD system, will post an installation guide soon. I used Empire EFI for AMD and the retail disk. My specs are AMD Phenom x4 940 4x3.0ghz 4GB of Ram Nvidia 9800gtx+ 512mb.
